Justin Caballero Featured in Better Homes & Gardens
Justin Caballero, President of Revive Design and Renovation, was featured in a Better Homes & Gardens article exploring why steam showers are becoming one of the most requested wellness upgrades in today’s bathroom remodels.
Bathroom design is moving beyond surface-level updates. More homeowners are looking for spaces that support rest, recovery, and daily wellness — and the steam shower is becoming one of the clearest examples of that shift.
That growing interest was recently explored in Better Homes & Gardens in the article The Bathroom Wellness Upgrade Everyone’s Adding Right Now—and Why It Pays Off, where Justin shared expert insight on how steam showers work, why homeowners are investing in them, and what to consider before adding one to a bathroom renovation.
Steam Showers Are Becoming Part of the Modern Wellness Bathroom
For many homeowners, the goal is no longer just to create a beautiful bathroom. It is to create a space that feels restorative and easy to use every day. A steam shower can bring the feeling of a spa or wellness club into the home, making relaxation more accessible without adding another stop to a busy routine.
In the article, Justin explains that a steam shower uses a generator to heat water and fill a properly sealed shower enclosure with warm, humid steam. Many newer setups can also include features like aromatherapy, lighting, and audio, creating a more complete experience inside the bathroom.
This is part of a broader movement toward bathrooms that do more than look polished. Steam showers, spa-inspired layouts, and wellness-focused upgrades are helping homeowners build spaces that support relaxation, muscle recovery, and a more intentional daily routine.
Why Professional Planning Matters
While a steam shower can be a strong lifestyle upgrade, it requires careful planning. Plumbing, electrical work, ventilation, waterproofing, and proper sealing all need to work together for the feature to perform well and last over time.
That is why Justin emphasized the importance of working with a professional team, especially when retrofitting an existing bathroom. A steam shower is not just another fixture. It is a system that needs to be designed and installed with the full bathroom environment in mind.
A Bathroom Upgrade That Supports Everyday Living
For homeowners considering a luxury bathroom remodel, a steam shower can offer both immediate comfort and long-term value. It brings wellness into the home in a way that feels practical, personal, and aligned with how people want to live now.
For Revive Design and Renovation, this kind of feature reflects a larger approach to remodeling: creating spaces that are beautiful, functional, and thoughtfully built around the routines that matter most.
